Classic look with better fasteners

You might prefer the look of a traditional plank fence, or you need to match the plank fence you already have on your property. Plank fence also works well for outdoor riding arenas, turnout and round pens, or as protection around stock waters. Although not as strong as our rail fence, we think our version of this classic fence is worth your consideration. We offer 2” x 6” S4S decking planks in 16’ lengths which we install on 8’ centers. As the planks are staggered, no single post carries the seams of all planks. In addition, our 5/16” lag bolt and u-bolt plates tie adjacent planks together resulting in a sturdy, solid structure.
