Durability and longevity.

Wood is attractive, readily available and easy to work with. Its major drawback is longevity. Even pressure treated wood is only conditionally warranted for 30 years. In our experience a small percentage of posts in some soils may only last 15. Fortunately there is an alternative using oil field tubing.

We use 2 ⅞” or 3.25” oilfield tubing for posts and 2 3/8” pipe as a top rail. We can offer multiple configurations, two or three pipe rails on the side, top pipe and black mesh, top pipe and 5 barb or smooth wires. It really depends on the application. We only need to do a minimal amount of welding with our technique.
