GATES

An enclosure is only as strong as its weakest point, and very often the gate is that point.

Customer demand, combined with Austech’s desire to bring improved yet still cost-effective gates to the market, drove our creation of a lineup of value-priced gates suited for acreage owners, farmers, ranchers and rural commercial operators. Designing, manufacturing and installing gates complemented and aligned with our existing technology and approaches.

We offer four types of gates:

Fully automated, custom-designed HSS steel gates.

Hi-Hog handy gates 4’ – 16’ hung off of 3.5” steel pipe (which can be automated)

Hi-Hog handy gates 16’ and over – black – hung off 4.5” steel pipe (which can be automated)

Hi-Hog handy gates 16’ and over – green – hung off 4.5” steel pipe

We also install custom-designed wooden and pipe overhead ranch gates that can be integrated with automated or farm gates.

Like our fencing packages, our gates are practical, sturdy, reliable, low-maintenance and good-looking. Being upfront, however: we don’t do super-fancy, ornate, ultra-expensive gates, wrought iron, stone pillars and so on (although we offer stone pillar platforms to make your stone mason’s job easy).

A good gate keeps 95% of the opportunists out. Although gates can’t stop a determined criminal in a heavy truck, they do eliminate casing of properties. Thieves can no longer drive onto your property to “ask for directions”, while checking out what you have that’s worth stealing.
