Durable, easy to close wire gates

While these are simple products, they’re critical to keeping your livestock in, since a fence is only as good as its weakest spot. Austech wire gates are available in any size and are built on-site to be as strong as the rest of the barbed-wire fence.

We use 3 ½” pivot and latch posts that are strapped to metal end stays, providing maximum strength to both the gate and fence and enabling the gate to be well-tensioned when closed. Five strands of wire are attached to pressure-treated 2” pickets with 1 ¾” staples using a fuel-cell driven stapler rather than hand-pounded staples that can damage pickets.
